You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. Psalm 139:1

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 1 John 5:14

       Indeed God Hears me!

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him. Psalm 28:7

       Indeed God Strengthens me!

This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into

the world that we might live through him. 1 John 4:9

       Indeed God Loves me!

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.  Matthew 28:19-20

~PRAISE GOD FOR KRC’S 2016 VBS “DEEP SEA DISCOVERY” OUTREACH.~

93 registered youth and teenage helpers participated and were spiritually blessed at KRC's Vacation Bible School which was so beautifully and successfully presented this past week! Praise to God also for Patti Varga and the 20 adults who assisted so faithfully in planning and implementing this exceptional outreach program.

~NOTE FROM OUTREACH MINISTRY~

The KRC Outreach Ministry will be collecting redeemable cans and bottles from August 1 to September 30, 2016, at the Kinderhook Transfer Station on 9-H.  All money received will benefit the Stop Hunger Now drive.  Please save your items for our "bin with a banner" located near the transfer station office, or call Tana (518-495-3621) if you need assistance.

PULPIT FLOWERS

Many KRC family and friends have, in the past, provided cut flowers for the pulpit in celebration of an anniversary or birthday, in honor of a special day or event, and in loving memory of family and friends who have passed away. During the summer months, those of you who are gardeners are invited to arrange and display your own garden flowers on a Sunday of your choice.  If you are interested in providing flowers for a particular Sunday, contact Dawn, 758-7564.

Franklin Graham Decision America Tour in Albany

12 – 1 pm Thursday, August 25, West Capitol Park

Dear Friend,

In just a few days, I will be in Albany for the Decision America Tour prayer rally. Will you and your church be there to stand with me at the Capitol?

We must continue to share the Good News and take a stand for religious freedom and God’s truth. That’s why I will be in Albany—and every other state capital in 2016. Our nation needs to turn to God, and it begins with His people, the church. We must confess our sins as individuals—and as a nation—and call on God to heal our land (2 Chronicles 7:14).

I hope you will join us at the Capitol and invite others to come with you—bring your children or fill a van from your church. Even if you have to drive across the state, it will be worth it to stand together and pray for our nation at this critical time.

Sincerely,
Franklin Graham

~STEWARDSHIP UPDATE~

This past Sunday, our weekly offering was $2,343 compared to our weekly need of $3,000! Regular contributors are asked to “double up” on their giving if they miss a Sunday, and Stewardship Ministry urges that everyone give prayerful consideration to how they might adjust their giving to help keep income at a level that will meet daily operating expenses.

Inspired by the abundance with which the Lord has blessed us,

let us continue, as his faithful stewards, to be ever mindful of the need

to maintain a weekly offering sufficient to cover our commitments.
