  CALL TO WORSHIP  (Everyone)
Let us worship God as children…with wonder and awe.
Let us worship God as youth…with questions and eager hearts.
Let us worship God as adults…with gratitude and praise.
Let us worship God as elders…with wisdom and hope.
Let the Body of Christ sing praises to God, from whom all blessings flow.
*MORNING PRAISE SONG                                            Amazing Love
  PRAYING FOR FORGIVENESS  (Unison)
We confess, O God, how difficult it is to be still. And once we are still, we confess how difficult it is to listen. And once we listen, we confess how difficult it is to obey. Forgive us our restlessness, our hearing deficiency, and our negligence of your nudges. Grant us another chance, and nudge on in the name of Jesus. Amen.
RECEIVING GOD'S WORDS OF FORGIVENESS
Our Lord does not easily get angry and he definitely does not stay angry for long, because he quickly forgives us our sin. Children of all ages, hear the good news and receive it with joy: In Jesus Christ we receive full forgiveness from sin and freedom to live as new people. Alleluia! Amen

PRAISE SONGS  Good News, He’s Got The Whole World In His Hands, Step By Step
  CHILDREN’S PRAYER OF BLESSING (Unison)
Draw our children face-to-face with you, O Lord.  May they feel your presence, and taste your goodness; may they experience your power to renew and strengthen them in times of need; and may they long for more of you each day of their lives.  Amen.

I believe in God / the Father almighty / creator of heaven and earth. /
I believe in Jesus Christ / his only Son, our Lord. / He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit / and born of the Virgin Mary. / He suffered under Pontius Pilate / was crucified, died, and was buried. / He descended to the dead. / On the third day he rose again. / He ascended into heaven / and is seated at the right hand of the Father. / He will come again / to judge the living and the dead. / I believe in the Holy Spirit / the holy catholic Church / the communion of saints / the forgiveness of sins / the resurrection of the body / and the life everlasting. / Amen.

  POSTLUDE

This month, the Missions Ministry is presenting Maureen Menard.  Maureen is one of the missionaries KRC sponsors.  Maureen Menard, who works with Bethany Ministries, is the Vice President of Youth With a Mission International (YWAM) and the Director of International Center for Discipleship Training Schools (DTS).  She is currently stationed in Cape Town, in the Republic of South Africa.  The primary focus of the International Center for Discipleship Training Schools is on leadership development.  The Center provides encouragement, support, and expertise in program/resource development, and partners with YWAM.  Likewise, YWAM provides leadership, staff development, and training using Biblical concepts and principles to promote outreach to others.  Both agencies train missionary leaders.  Therefore, sponsoring Bethany Ministries is like “investing” in all of the many missionaries that attend their training schools.  Maureen's job involves much travel, and she has expressed a special interest in promoting ministry to women and children at risk.  For more information, or to contact Maureen, visit Bethany Ministries, International DTS, or YWAM websites.

Praise God for John Schubert and all others who worked with the Missions Ministry to make a success of KRC’s Annual Pancake Breakfast outreach and community fellowship opportunity; and for Maureen Mooney and all of the volunteers who assisted in the Plant Sale/Swap sponsored by Evangelism Ministry.  $414 in breakfast donations will go to the Valatie Food Pantry, and $300 in proceeds from the plant sale will be used to support Evangelism projects.

If you are willing to offer your services to the Lemonade Stand ministry following Worship during the summer months, please contact Sally Heimroth, 784-3164.

KRC SMALL GROUPS
KRC offers a small group opportunity on Thursdays at 9 a.m. at the church.  This coming Thursday, the group is continuing a Joyce Meyer study, “How to Study the Word,” with Pastor Rudy leading.  All are invited to attend, and walk-ins are always welcome!

Please note Libby Little’s June Update on the back table, and feel free to pick up a copy for your information and as a prayer guide.

PLEASE JOIN THE CRAFTS GROUP, "THE OLDE DUTCH AND SUCH" - Dawn Tuttle, Jane Deane, and Joy Bertram - FRIDAYS AT 9:30 AM IN THE FELLOWSHIP HALL. We are creating items for the KRC fair/bazaar which will take place November 3.  The Essenes were an ancient Hebrew group known for their devotion to God, and we honor them with our crafting.  Please save wine corks and plastic grocery bags for use in this project.  A box is available in the room across from the church office for collecting these materials.

MANY THANKS AND BLESSINGS TO THE KRC FAMILY FOR THEIR GENEROSITY IN SUPPORT OF THE VALATIE FOOD PANTRY.  The Pantry served 100 families in April, including 170 adults, 54 seniors/handicapped, and 130 children. The Pantry is heavily over-stocked on spaghetti at this time, but other non-perishable foods that are always popular are evaporated milk; coffee; sugar; boxed cereals; pancake mix; syrup; jelly; canned meats, fruits, and vegetables; spaghetti sauce; mac & cheese; dinner helpers; apple sauce; juice; cake & brownie mixes. Donations may be placed in the collection containers available in the church entryways.
