  God's Greeting
  Call to Worship  (Responsive)
Jesus Christ is risen today!
     Christ is risen, indeed!
The tomb could not hold him.
The grave is empty. Christ is risen!
Humanity’s sin could not condemn him.
He shattered sin’s power over us. Christ is risen!
Death could not contain him.
He conquered death for all eternity. Christ is risen!
Jesus Christ is risen today!
     Christ is risen, indeed!

Turning Our Hearts to God
  Call to Confession
Beloved, we are God’s children because of the love God has for us, yet we sometimes fail to respond to God’s outpouring of love. Let us confess our sins together.
  Prayer of Confession  (Unison)
Loving God, we confess that at times we do not share in the joy of the resurrection but are caught in the worries of the world. We confess that we thrive in discontentment, grumbling, and anxiousness.  Forgive us for not living the Good News. We need your joy and encouragement of new life in Christ! Call us back to your ways, O God, to seek hope and reconciliation, restoration and peace, in you. In the name of the Risen Christ, we pray. Amen.
  Assurance of Pardon  (Responsive)
We know love by this, that Jesus laid down his life for us. Friends, hear the good news and believe: In Jesus Christ we are forgiven!
     Alleluia! Amen.
               Allowing God to Shape Us
  Children’s Sermon and Blessing  (Unison)
Lord Jesus, may our children always acknowledge you as the Son of the Most High God, and may they experience the power and direction of your Spirit within them.  May they be your light in this world, testifying without shame to your truth, and attracting many to the good news of your gifts of salvation and eternal life.  Amen.
