God Almighty, Ruler of the Universe, who sets suns and moons above us and mountains and valleys beneath us, we have often hid from your majestic and holy presence, and have seldom sought your life-giving face and your renewing hand! We have often forgotten you, and have seldom really loved and followed you! We have often failed to respond to your promptings, and have seldom sought after your wisdom or your guidance! God, our Father, forgive us for thinking small thoughts of you and for disregarding your immensity and greatness. God, our Lord Jesus, forgive us for ignoring your kingship over all creation and rejecting your lordship over our small lives. God, the Holy Spirit, forgive us for minimizing your power and squandering your gifts. ~INVITATION FROM THE ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS~
The Adult Sunday School Class, which meets in the main floor conference room following Worship and Coffee Hour each Sunday, is currently studying the book, The Ten(der) Commandments: Reflections on the Father's Love, by Ron Mehl. The Ten Commandments are often portrayed as ominous warnings – cold, harsh words from an all-powerful and vengeful God. This book recasts them as messages of love – ten declarations of our Creator’s love for us. Pastor and award-winning author, Ron Mehl, interprets The Ten Commandments as guiding steps that can keep us from being bruised and broken by the deadly traps of a fallen world. He shows how, rather than running into the same brick walls of life and clawing helplessly up the same impassable sand banks, we can be led by God’s guiding hand and walk through life with confidence.
All are encouraged to join the class and take advantage of this excellent opportunity to gain a new understanding of God’s ten simple guidelines for living.
A NOTE OF THANKS FROM THE CHRISTIAN EDUCATION MINISTRY
We would like to thank Joan Clause for her years of loving faithfulness and dedicated effort to the ministry of organizing and managing the KRC Library. Many KRC family members and friends have enjoyed and been blessed by the books and other materials available, and in order to better serve their needs, an inventory and an updated listing of all library items are currently being completed. If you have not yet visited the library, located in the church basement across from the fellowship hall, you are cordially invited and encouraged to do so. You are sure to find a selection of interest among the hundreds offered, and check-out is easy and operates on a self-serve/honor-system basis.

The Valatie Ecumenical Food Pantry served 90 families in the month of March: 38 were handicapped/seniors, 171 adults, and 133 children (342 total). Non-perishable foods always popular at the Pantry are evaporated milk; coffee; sugar; boxed cereals; pancake mix; syrup; jelly; canned meats, fruits, and vegetables; spaghetti/spaghetti sauce; mac & cheese; dinner helpers; apple sauce; juice; cake and brownie mixes. Donations may be placed in the collection containers available in the entryways of the church.

You are cordially invited to FIRST FRIDAY POTLUCK PICNIC and MOVIE NIGHT at 6 p.m. served on the church lawn and in the fellowship room. Everyone is welcome, so even if you don't cook, or don't have time to, please come and enjoy the GOOD FOOD AND FELLOWSHIP. There is always more than enough for everyone to have a hearty meal, and we hope to see you there.

This year our Education ministry will coordinate our Annual Recycling Sale. Getting involved has lots of pros like:
motivation for spring cleaning
donating towards a great purpose
get rid of stuff
unclutter your house
get kids involved in community work
help kids to decide on what to donate . . . yes I'm talking about all the unused toys/books/clothes etc.
Fun fellowship while working
Enjoy free coffee and donuts
and I'm sure there are more things I just can't think of any right now!!!
If you have any unwanted stuff that someone else can buy or use, please consider donating it instead of putting it on the sidewalk for garbage removal. Donations will be accepted from now until sale week and stored in the basement classroom directly across from the nursery. And last but not least, WE WOULD APPRECIATE ONE HOUR OF YOUR TIME TO HELP US PREPARE FOR THE SALE!! the happy news that Milo David Unger was born in North Carolina on May 15, to Juliette, daughter of David and Vicki Smith. Baby Milo arrived by C-section, and both he and Juliette are doing well. David and Vicki were in North Carolina at the time for Milo's birth and Juliette's college graduation. Congratulations to Juliette, Baby Milo, and first-time grandparents, David and Vicki!

CLASSIS ASSESSMENT 2015
KRC’s share of support this year is $5,633.28 for services and resources to be provided for us by the Reformed Church in America at the local, regional, and national levels. EACH MEMBER’S SHARE OF THIS YEAR’S CLASSIS ASSESSMENT HAS BEEN SET AT $88.02. All who are able to do so are encouraged to offer, over and above regular giving, their share of this support. The full share does not have to be given at one time, but may be given in as many increments as are convenient. If offered weekly, that’s less than $2.50 weekly for the remaining weeks in this year. All contributions made for this purpose should be designated, “Classis Assessment."
